10/100M series is a kind of 10/100Mbps intelligent adaptive fast Ethernet media converter. It can implement data transmission between twisted pair electrical signals and optical signals which are two types of network connection media. This type of media converter can extend the transmission distance to to several lilometers. Using media converter is a economical solution to achieve long distance transmission base on current status.
