Fiber Media Converter
10/100/1000M series is a kind of 10/100/1000Mbps intelligent adaptive fast Ethernet media converter. It can implement data transmission between twisted pair electrical signals and optical signals which are two types of network connection media. This type of media converter can extend the transmission distance to to several lilometers. Using media converter is a economical solution to achieve long distance transmission base on current status.

Other features of this module include the ability to be used as a stand alone device (no chassis required) or with TP-LINK´s 19´system chassis, Auto MDI/MDI-X for TX port, and front panel status LEDs. The MC200CM will transmit at extended fiber optic distances utilizing multi-mode fiber up to 0.55 kilometers.
